Nicéphore Niépce

Nicéphore Niépce is most well known for essientially creating the art of photography. He took the world's first photograph in 1825. He was born and raised in France. He is also known for creating the worlds first internal combustion engine. There is now an awards called the Niépce Prize which has been given to successful photographers since 1955 who have lived in France for at least 3 years.
